Gonzalo Ramia

Ever since I was young, I’ve always had a strong passion for food and cooking.  Growing up in Venezuela, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen learning to cook from the best teachers for me, personally  my grandmother and mother.  With roots tracing back to both Lebanon and Spain, their cooking was heavily influenced by various European and Mediterranean cuisines. I was taught to cook using only the freshest of ingredients enhancing the flavors of any dish. My passion for food and cooking continues today, as I further develop my techniques, discover new ingredients and learn new styles.  Specifically, I have experience in Mediterranean, Latin, Italian, Spanish, Asian cuisines. 

As a Miami resident for the past 15 years, I have had the privilege to train in some of Miami’s top restaurants. And, I am always striving to learn more and polish my culinary skills. Through all of my experiences, I have developed a strong interest in preparing fresh, simple, healthy meals. As more people want to know how to eat healthier, I  became certified as a Nutrition Counselor to gain an understanding on how various foods affect our bodies.

I am now combining both my culinary and nutrition skills to prepare healthy meals for you. I enjoy cooking for others and working closely with my clients to ensure food is prepared with their individuals tastes in mind.
